      Dewy Blueberry

I cried in a grocery store parking lot once. It was about a month after deciding to go vegan and the plant burgers that I had been relying on as my main source of protein were on sale, which I paired with a coupon, and I walked away with 12 burgers for $9 (normally would have been $35). I wasn’t crying about the money – I was crying from the psychological relief and gratitude that I had so much food to eat.. high protein vegan food that I could survive on and really liked. (Normally I would have only bought 4-6 burgers so it really felt like a big stash of amazing vegan food.)

What I’m trying to say is that – for me, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing when I went vegan. And what made it worse was that I was the only vegan I knew. My family, friends, coworkers, neighbors… none of them were vegan. It was lonely and scary and I never want anyone else who is going vegan to feel that way, which is why I’ve created this forum.

I am here to support you! And it’s my hope that as this forum grows, we will all be able to support one another.

So please, leave a message here if you need anything at all. If you need resources, I will do my best to help you find them. If you just want to talk to someone, I will listen. Anything you need, I’m happy to help. And, you’d actually be helping me too! I want to know more vegans too! So we’re very much in this together.

There are forum areas here for just about any specific topic you need as well – Cooking and Baking, the International forum is to help you find other vegans in your country if you’re not in the US, and so on. Have a look through the forums available, feel free to start a new topic, and I will do my best to reply ASAP!

Thanks for being here! Let’s Rendezvegan!  🙂
